FOR ADULTS
Individual Therapy
Serving Roswell, Alpharetta, Milton, Sandy Springs, and East Cobb
Helping you slow down, reconnect, and feel more like yourself.
It can feel like you’re expected to keep it together, do more, and handle everything without struggling even when stress, anxiety, or self-doubt are about to explode beneath the surface. If you’re noticing that you feel overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, disconnected from your body, or caught up in rules around food or body image, therapy can offer space to pause and make sense of what’s happening.
You don’t have to have everything figured out to start. You just have to be open to support.
Holistic Therapy for Growth and Healing
Many adults I work with don’t necessarily look like they’re struggling on the outside. They may be capable, high-functioning, and deeply thoughtful yet feel overwhelmed or exhausted.
Therapy can be helpful if you find yourself:
feeling anxious, on edge, or stuck in cycles of overthinking
experiencing burnout or emotional exhaustion
struggling with body image, food, or control around eating
managing perfectionism, people-pleasing, or harsh self-criticism
navigating life transitions like school, career changes, relationships, or parenthood
wanting to understand yourself more deeply and make changes that last
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Often, people seek support when they’re tired of carrying everything alone.
Why This Approach May Feel Different
Many of the clients who find their way here are used to being “the one who handles things” or “has it all together.”
Maybe you are incredibly insightful, self-aware, and capable but feel disconnected from your emotions or unsure how to actually feel better vs. just understanding what’s wrong.
My approach is especially supportive for people who:
✦ tend to minimize their own struggles
✦ feel pressure to be productive or “fine”
✦ have learned to cope by staying busy, controlled, or self-critical
✦ take time to warm up and build trust
A Compassion-Focused, Nervous-System-Informed Approach
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in compassion. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, we work toward understanding what your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are trying to communicate.
I integrate evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), RO-DBT-informed strategies, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), mindfulness, and self-compassion through a personal and relational lens. Sessions are paced with intention and tailored to your needs, helping you build emotional awareness, flexibility, and tools that support lasting change.
Together, we’ll explore what keeps you feeling stuck and work toward increased self-trust, balance, and ease.

Anxiety & Depression Support for Adults
Anxiety and depression doesn’t always look the way people expect. Many adults I work with are high-functioning, thoughtful, and capable but they feel overwhelmed inside, emotionally drained, or stuck in cycles of overthinking and self-doubt.
You might notice:
constant worry or racing thoughts
feeling on edge, irritable, or emotionally shut down
low motivation, heaviness, or loss of enjoyment
burnout from holding yourself to high standards
difficulty slowing down or feeling present
Therapy offers a space to understand what’s happening beneath the surface and develop practical, compassionate tools to support emotional regulation, clarity, and resilience.
Body Image & Self-Worth
Body image struggles can quietly shape how you feel about yourself, your relationships, and your sense of control. Even when life looks “fine” on the outside, distress around food, weight, or appearance can take up significant mental and emotional space.
In therapy, we work toward building a more respectful and grounded relationship with your body by:
exploring the underlying roots of body image distress
reducing shame and harsh self-criticism
increasing body awareness and self-compassion
challenging beliefs that tie worth to appearance or control
This work is approached gently and collaboratively, with an emphasis on safety, trust, and long-term change rather than quick fixes.
Support for Eating Disorders and Disordered Eating
I offer outpatient therapy for adults experiencing eating disorders or disordered eating patterns, including restriction, bingeing, compulsive exercise, or ongoing struggles with food and control.
Treatment is:
✦ weight-neutral
✦ trauma-informed
✦ paced intentionally based on your needs
✦ collaborative with dietitians and other treatment team providers
Therapy focuses on increasing emotional awareness, reducing reliance on coping based in control, and supporting sustainable recovery that aligns with your values and wellbeing.
Therapy for College Students & Young Adults
College and early adulthood are periods of rapid change, pressure, and identity development. Many college students I work with are high-achieving, self-critical, and emotionally guarded even when they appear to be managing well academically.
Therapy can support college students navigating:
✧ anxiety or depression
✧ academic pressure and burnout
✧ identity shifts and comparison
✧ body image concerns or disordered eating
✧ difficulty slowing down or asking for support
Sessions provide space to process these experiences, build coping skills, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself during this transitional stage.
