Individual therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and gently empowering.

You might look like you’ve got it all together. You have the top grades, the super busy schedule, and the “I’m fine” answer for your friends and parents but inside, something feels really off. No matter how much you do or how much you achieve, it feels like you are always falling short.

In therapy, we’ll slow things down and make sense of what’s really going on. Whether it’s anxiety, perfectionism, or just that feeling of not being able to rest, you’ll learn practical tools and compassionate ways to navigate stress, connect with yourself, and find steadier ground. Therapy isn’t about quick fixes. It’s about creating lasting change through understanding and self-kindness

I believe healing happens when all parts of you are invited into the process - your thoughts, emotions, body, and relationships. My approach blends evidence-based therapy, mindfulness, and creative reflection to support your whole self, not just the parts that feel stuck.

Sessions are 50 minutes long and available in person in Roswell, GA or virtually across Georgia. I specialize in working with teens navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and body-image concerns.

Therapy to Help You Heal, Grow & Thrive

A crafting or art workspace with a white table, two dark blue chairs, and organized art supplies including paints, brushes, scissors, and paper. There is a decorative mirror on the wall above the table.

At Kind Heart Counseling, I offer individual therapy for clients 12 and up who feel overwhelmed by self-doubt, anxiety, perfectionism, body-image concerns, or the pressure to hold it all together. Many are navigating shifts in friendships, family dynamics, or internal changes that can feel confusing or heavy. Sessions are a safe, supportive space to explore what you’re going through with warmth, understanding, and curiosity.

Because Growing Up Is Hard…

A cozy living room corner with a gray armchair with a red cushion, a white side table, a beige lamp, a mug, a clock, and books on the shelf. There is also a framed art print of a wave on the wall and a window with sheer curtains.

My goal is to walk alongside you (and your family, when helpful) through the ups and downs, not as someone with all the answers, but as a steady presence while you find your way forward.

In therapy, we’ll create space to build self-awareness, develop coping skills and begin trusting your inner voice again.

I offer neurodivergent-affirming, compassionate care grounded in a strengths-based and person-centered approach. Depending on your needs, sessions may include conversation, mindfulness, creative activities, or skills practice that supports emotional regulation, self-understanding, and connection. My hope is for you to leave each session feeling seen, supported, and just a little more at ease in your own skin.

Therapy isn’t about quick fixes or becoming a different version of yourself. It’s about understanding what your emotions are trying to tell you and learning new ways to respond with compassion instead of criticism. Over time, this work helps you feel more confident in your ability to handle life’s challenges, deepen your relationships, and move through the world with a greater sense of calm and authenticity.

Talk Therapy

Traditional talk therapy allows us to process what’s happening in your life, understand emotions and patterns, and build coping tools that help you handle stress and relationships with more confidence.

Creative Interventions

For clients who benefit from hands-on work, sessions may include expressive tools like art materials, games, or creative prompts alongside conversation. These activities make space for self-expression and insight in a comfortable, engaging way.

Group Therapy

Group therapy can be a great complement to individual work. My small groups help preteens and teens connect with peers and gain support from others who truly understand what they’re going through.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • The first session is a space for us to meet, talk about what’s bringing you in, and explore what you’re hoping for in the therapy process. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. It’s okay to feel unsure or nervous!

  • My standard rate for 50 minute individual sessions is $180.
The initial intake session is 60 minutes and the rate is $200.
For in-person group therapy sessions, the rate is $70 for 50 minutes and $90 for 75 minutes.

  • I believe therapy should be accessible and I reserve a small number of reduced-rate sessions for clients with financial need. These spaces are limited and intended for those who otherwise would not be able to access care. If that’s your situation, please let me know on your inquiry form, and we can explore options together.

  • I am an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t accept insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill you can submit for possible reimbursement through your insurance company.

Before scheduling, you can contact your insurance company to ask about out-of-network mental health coverage.

  • Most clients begin with weekly or biweekly sessions to build connection and a strong foundation for our work together. Over time, we may decide to meet less often as you feel more grounded and confident using the skills and insights from therapy in your daily life.

  • Absolutely. When I work with clients under 18, I include parents or caregivers as part of the process in a supportive way. I believe therapy works best when teens have privacy to open up and parents feel connected to the process. We’ll find the right balance together as it looks a little different for every family.

  • Yes. I offer sessions online via a secure HIPAA compliant platform for individuals across Georgia.
